As president of Martin Marketing, Bob’s strategic insights have been honed with more than a quarter century of management experience and contributions to widely traded and privately held corporations, as well as service to public and nonprofit sectors.
Following service in the United States Navy, Bob earned a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He launched his career as an award-winning journalist covering business beats for the Columbia (MO) Missourian, Personnel Journal, and Orange Coast magazine. He is an experienced publisher in traditional and online publications, as well as for affinity audiences and social media outlets.
Bob applied his academic and practical business knowledge serving in senior sales and marketing management capacities with Gartlan USA, Goebel of North America, The Thomas Kinkade Company, and frontline branding and market management for The Walt Disney Company.
His contributions to Martin Marketing’s partners are woven through his superior strategic and analytic aptitude, exemplary communications skills and team-building acuity.
Bob continues to mentor community leadership students in media training at Leadership Morgan Hill where he is past President of the Board of Directors; grills a mean tri-tip; and conjugates a verb with the best of them.
Kelly co-founded Martin Marketing in 2003 and has since provided sales counsel and support for clients in a myriad of industries, including hard goods and giftware, municipal facilities, media and publishing, retail, nonprofits and business-to-business manufacturers.
She holds a Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and sharpened her acute sales skills as a Senior Account Executive with Orange Coast (CA) magazine, where she spent 20 years serving small businesses, national brands and global agencies in the Los Angeles and New York markets.
Today Kelly’s related experience in goodwill marketing, non-profit sponsorships and fundraising, general business management and branding, along with her innate sales abilities, make her contributions to Martin Marketing’s partners simultaneously measurable and invaluable.
In addition to her successful professional career, Kelly’s nurtured three dynamic young sons, spoils her Welsh Corgi and refuses to let younger counterparts overshadow her during their “Fit by Burn” work-out each morning.
