Tsunami Swim Team of Kansas City
TST’s Board of Directors has retained Martin Marketing to serve in a business management and internal communication capacity since 2011. In that role Martin Marketing supports the Board and coaching staff in building a foundation of financial strength through such activities as grant-writing, fundraising processes, sponsorships, inventory control (and production) of branded apparel, savings through vendor negotiations and other cost-control measures. In addition, Martin Marketing has established internal team communications channels, including website management, social media (Twitter) tools, and online bill pay, contributing to a 32% team membership growth in the past three years and near-elimination of outstanding receivables and related fees. Tsunami Swim Team of Kansas City (TST) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit and affiliated member of USA Swimming, the sole governing body for competitive swimming in the United States.
